Chapters 21-30

The chapters twenty one through thirty are really great. It starts off with Doug going to a table in the cafeteria at school and eating spaghetti and meatballs. All of a sudden a meatball goes flying at his face. It is cannonballed by a group of football players that were saying very mean and rude comments about the spying that Doug had done to Melissa. This starts a big food fight because Doug runs away. Doug luckily has left the room just in time. Later on when he is leaving the school, the same group of bullies beats him up harshly. He wakes up on a hospital bed in agony and pain. Doug misses the whole week of school and when he arrives back he gets sent to the principal. The principal has changed Doug's whole schedule. The only period that he had with Melissa is changed. This ruins Doug's whole year. He is really mad and he asks Andy to beat up the kids who hurt him. Andy says that he won't do it because he doesn't want to go to prison. Doug makes a bomb threat to the school. The whole school gets scared and the next day he meets up with the principal and the cops. He blames the threat on Andy and then the cop tells him that Andy died three years ago in the Tuttle House. Doug now sees how Andy really is dead.
